Did the shard market get so flooded that the botters have changed their tactics? Lately I have seen a resurge of the 8 b man bot groups at the leve counters. For a while I wasnt really seeing them anymore and i was just seeing the shard bots. Today I noticed that the 4-6 shards bots at the fish NPC in limsa werent there. Wonder if SE nuked them or if they are botting something new since they crashed the shard market.

They're picking up gathering leves to powerlevel gatherers. You can essentially levelink a full party of drones onto your gatherer and steal all the SP from them, then use that character as a drone for another character. Essentially they're farming gatherers and crawling up the chain incredibly fast.

The RMT are just expanding their foraging in anticipation of level cap raises and such.

they would thank you for putting them out of their misery. Most rmt come from sweat shops as Per an mtv interview. that was "joked" about on youtube. A "rmt" claimed to say, they do not want to ruin the game for people but find away to make money by selling stuff like gil or items. Or you can take "welcome to the nhk" and find they or hikikimori (sp) aka shut ins trying to "get rich" with little effort.

Didn't they say gatherers would gather Materia when the system is introduced. Looks like they are going to try and corner the Market on it. Have noticed a huge increase in these parties this last week or so on Lindblum.

It's the result of server populations continuing to drop off. Haven't you noticed how dead Uldah is becoming? Doubt it's just my server. I've opted to take a break from the game until it starts to improve, and I've been playing since release.
