kinda scary to see that they want to know what we want to see in the future *sigh*.... they are not even close to a mount feature it seems to me... omfg... they are really lucky that most mmos are bad wow clones... otherwise "goodbye" ffxiv...Hey, gang! Spoke with Yoshida about your lively discussion surrounding mounts. As I'm sure is a surprise to no one, there are a lot of varied opinions on personal mounts. We'll be looking into, and evaluating, the most popular ones. That said, please continue to let us know what you want to see in the future!
The statement "please continue to let us know what you want to see in the future!" does not imply they don't have something in the pipeline already. It just means they don't plan to stop with the current set of changes.
When it comes to SE, FFXIV and FFXI for some reason people decide to assume and read into the worst connotation possible yet when other companies say the same line they're creaming themselves to sleep.
It's not people's fault that SE has conditioned them to expect the worst due to FFXI having features with a whole bunch of "but"s thrown in. Chocobo raising being one of them
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
