I better stop playing that game before it turns into what people want it to turn. i played every ff but what u ppl want is wow with chocobos. I hate wow and copying content and ideas from other games will not give the game the Final Fantasy feeling. If u ever played FFXIV then u will know that motorcycles and other nervous flying, jumping things dont work in this game. Chocobo is the only thing i want to ride. No dodo, no golem, no pink lion. Its important for the armosphere. Sorry for my bad english. Ps: i really liked and enjoyed the game so far.

What the hell are you talking about? Mechanical vehicles (such as motorcycles) could easily fit in this game, though they would obviously have to take some liberties with the design. It wouldn't be one like we know in our world but a 2 wheeled vehicle that runs on steam/magic/whatever that blue stuff is is entirely feasible. Have you ever seen the Garlean Empire's technology? Not to mention we've now got the Garlond Ironworks working on things.

Just because a game has more than one type of mount doesn't automatically make it WoW. You know WoW didn't create mounts nor does it have an patent on them. Hardly anything about WoW is original, it just brought the ideas together and made them popular and staples of the MMO genre.

The mechs dont fit in the game. Else they have to work on many, many things (example motorcycle).

Ok, if the mechs really fit in the game and are something special, why not. But I think we talk about animals.
I can't think of how every body has a different animal to ride on.

Choice, diversity and variety. I like Chocobos but I think it would be cool to ride other things too. What's the problem with allowing people to do that? It's not like it's a choice between Chocobos or anything else. It's Chocobos AND anything else.

The problem is that chocobos are a big piece of FF and its strange when other monsters/animals take or share the same image in a FF. We still don't know how the "mount system" works at the end but I definitly don't like the idea of that. That's all I can say. I was waiting for Chocobos from the first day of FFXIV release on and now they want to implement a "mount system". Why won't they start with the "all want"-basics and come with some strange add on stuff ideas later. I only want to ride chocobos. All would be happy with only that.
