I'll reiterate. Chocobos only with varied styles and colours to them. You could have mixed-colour mounts or chocobos with different features, and be able to equip them with different types of armors. Please nothing other than chocobos.

Chocobos that upgrade to flying after some time (these should be a challenge & memorable moment to obtain). Also, consider Fat Chocobo!

I agree that it should be chocobos and chocobos only for mounts. Anything else will continue to move away from the Final Fantasy feel. However I'm definitely all for the idea of a genuine breeding system similar to that of FFVII, but with more in-depth variations.

Highly disagree. Motorcycles, Boats & Airships would be 100% Final Fantasy feel as well.

kinda scary to see that they want to know what we want to see in the future *sigh*.... they are not even close to a mount feature it seems to me... omfg... they are really lucky that most mmos are bad wow clones... otherwise "goodbye" ffxiv...

The statement "please continue to let us know what you want to see in the future!" does not imply they don't have something in the pipeline already. It just means they don't plan to stop with the current set of changes.

When it comes to SE, FFXIV and FFXI for some reason people decide to assume and read into the worst connotation possible yet when other companies say the same line they're creaming themselves to sleep.

It's not people's fault that SE has conditioned them to expect the worst due to FFXI having features with a whole bunch of "but"s thrown in. Chocobo raising being one of them

Can you please ask SE to hire a real GAME DESIGNER to decide and design these things instead of trying to gauge to which direction the mud-slinging on the forums seems to have a stronger current?

I would like to see chocobo's being very customizable as some others have said. Many colours, different size/style feathers, different colour saddles, differences in beak size, different chocobo breeds perhaps. I think it would be very interesting to see everyone having different chocobos.

For a different type of mount it would be cool to see something similar to the Sleipnir from Final Fantasy XII.

What I would like more than having many types of mounts, is having few (maybe 3 different types of mounts at most) but very customizable.

I can't wait to see what SE has in store for us. I hope they surprise us. :3
