Also it'd take longer to reach each npc selling what you want. What they really need to do is redesign the shape and layout of each marketward area to help spread retainers out more. And theme the wards corresponding to each city alot more than they are presently. Like in Ul'Dah have the wards as a large outdoor market square.

Or just consolidate the wards from all 3 towns into the same instance, and give us the option to purchase items directly from the item search counter.
