I would like people who are stating what they are using in their pc versus the term "High-end PC." That can give the community a better grasp at what might be causing issues. We also have to remember, just because some computer part is expensive doesn't necessarily mean it was built for gaming.

I can confirm as well that a minimum spec PC causes aoe and etc to appear slower making the game a hard-mode all day.

Unfortunately even if you don't want to buy a newer computer to just play this game, in the near future we will all need to anyways. You can already expect the next generation of MMOs to be even more demanding. We tend to forget that FF14 ARR was actually dimmed down for better performance. Imagine if it wasn't.

At first I didn't want too but now I will buy a new gaming pc as well. I already logically know, if I want to continue playing MMOs I need a better PC period.

So true... "Keeping up with the Jones' " can be an expense; fortunately as games progress, hi-end components become standard components and the price point remains roughly the same. For as long as I can remember $600 gets you a PC that can try anything but won't always preform well. $1000 let's you play any game on normal settings.

My first PC was an AST advantage 286 MHz Processor with a 250 MB hard drive... It was $600 and fairly top of the line. That was 20 years ago... In 20 more years, who uses the term "Bytes" or even "Kilobytes" anymore? Our grand children playing FFXXX won't know what a "Megabyte or Gigabyte" is and anything with a wire on it will be strange to them.
