When a bad internet connection or under-powered computer is hamstringing you and preventing you from playing correctly you are by proxy a bad player. You are the only person that can change that situation, you've realized what your problem is and rather than rectifying it, have accepted it. Now you've reached the point that you're actively trying to justify your decision to not rectify the problem, which is the true mark of a BAD PLAYER.

Why so much hostility here? The point was there is a real problem, but that there are also things that can be done to overcome it. Did you watch the video or read the OP comments? He is actually trying to do something useful here. Demonstrate the problem exists and that yes people should have sympathy for those affected, but also show that for those who are affected it can be to an extent overcome with practice.

It's funny just how many people are relating this topic to being bad.... or dragging down others due to PC performance.

Maybe read the topic or actually watch the video?

This is about the only argument that makes sense. As you can see I have overcome the issue, and shared with others how they too can do the same.

as for the rest of you who voiced strong opinions on something you clearly haven't read or paid any attention to... Who's bad?

general summery post.... more to V... and those who were negative in reply.

Server lag is a real and well known issue. Regardless of hardware. Those aspects are out of the control of individuals, and spikes during heavy use periods. There are current issues in the way data packets reroute info and resynch from players from a higher ping, or distant area. THey are aware and it will be addressed during an over haul after the end o the year.

Over pushing your cards can cause issues. Yet to be realistic, instances are far less demanding then congested areas. Stability is still going to be better in the titan instance, then in limsa or uldah congested areas. the data packets are far lower. But spikes will accur when the instance server is hit hard, will resort in stutters, delays in commands, or straight out paused when outside the radius ring of most players or the mob (even in a 8 player instance).

Some players will scream lag when they mess up. Others are actually hit by it. Even on a 8 core I7 wit dual GTX 780 pro's.

Most of the sarcastic people who say how others are not living up to their expectations, are usually the ones that screw up the most in dungeons, are carry on like babbling children, and are the main cause of disruption, and lack of team work. If you lack patience, social skills, and the ability to guide, then you really should not play this or any other mmo.

Perhaps you need to meditate a lot, find some calm, learn to control issues, and be a productive part of the community, rather then a loud complainer about how everyone is expected to live by your ideals and rules. The sooner you accept it will not happen, and you begin to look bad and isolate yourself, the sooner you will be a contributing member. When we suffer from lag mechanics due to underlying issues that are to be resolved later, we have to compensate. However as a result don't attack other players.

Many elite LS's fail fairly quickly and are no wear to be found 2 years later. Nor those type of players.

PS the amd system is more then enough to play this game (the 500 series is actually less in power then the 480 series but sufficient). One thing to check is AMD cool and quiet in the BIOS. This game will not recognize it, nor do games such as GW2. Make sure it is OFF in bios or you will throttle at 0.9 gihertz and under full clock on the cpu.

TO kow it isn't the gpu/cpu and is lag, when you do traits and the response is delayed, that is SERVER side. and it is delayed coming back to your system as a confirmation.

My PC is kinda meh, but having done the fight enough I usually know when it's coming. Especially post heart, right before he uses weight.. Count to 2, start running right after he does table flip, and right after he does Tumult.

I wrote about the graphic lag and a possible "workaround" in some other threads.

Really! Try it out, it makes a huge difference!
Since i found this "trick", i never died on plumes.
I think this is the solution for most people that have problems with dodging red zones.
BUT most people just ignore it and move on to whine more and blame the ISP's or complain about netcode or servers.
I know, there IS network-lag for some people, but i'm sure most of the
    players are experiencing graphic lag.

Here's something people should honestly never see: Making it out of the danger zone on time and still being hit. Lag or not, you should never ever see this. To me it kind of seems silly how you can run out of Weight, run half way across the arena in fact and die on the other side of the map. Seems a bit silly no?

    Currently:

-You see a red circle and run out of it.
-Almost an entire second later you see an explosion you were no where near.
-Almost another entire second later you take damage and fall dead.

    What you should see:

-A red circle that you try to run out of.
-An immediate transition from circle to explosion.
-Damage only if your hitbox is touching that explosion.
-Instant death with no more free movement.

I discovered the incredible number of youtube videos yesterday where people clearly run out of the indicators, have time to make a sandwich and take a nap before the indicator disappears and are hit by the mechanic more than a second later.
