So far I've downed Turn 2 as a Warrior three times. It wasn't until this most recent attempt that I realized why Turn 2 seems harder for me than any other turn; my IB's only heal me for 75% of what they normally do.

A semi-buffed (meaning no Berserk) IB would only heal me for around 970 max (non-crit), whereas on any other fight in this game it heals me for a max of about 1300 (non-crit). If I had Berserk up I'd heal for a max of 1400 (non-crit), whereas normally i'd heal for 1850. This makes it clear that there is some buff to all the Turn 2 bosses, which in-turn make us even less effective as tanks.

So here's my question: does the first orb to the left left actually reduce slashing resistance for the boss? Everything I've found said it does, but if that's true then why am I hitting my IB's for 25% less than normal? I feel so gimp without my full IB heals that I have learned to heavily rely on.
