Target not in range (try II)

-irrelevant! (but regular human, not blue human, not ear guy not furry and not midget)

World:
Excalibur

Class/Level:
Gladiator , from level 16 to 21

Area and Coordinates:
in instance Copperbell Mines and in wilderness (Thanalan- all of them)

Party or Solo:
"Solo".
"Party"- two members.
"Party"- four members.

NPC Name:
"None".

Monster Name:
all monsters.

In-Game Time:
every melee combat

Steps:
remove "auto face target" option in the configuration.
get melee class with melee weapon (dagger or gladius) with reach of 3 yalms
attack monster,
get close to it so you are inside the monsters hit box.
press any attack skill
you will get error "target not in range" -the bigger the monsters hit box, the more chance that you will get this error.
move out little bit until your character is outside the monster hitbox ,
attack monster.--> you will attack successfully.

I've had the same problemen, but then when I don't directly face the monster. No problem when I'm healing though, and a party member is standing in range right next to me, but when a monster is to my left or right, even though it's in range, it says it's out of range.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with this issue. This matter has already been brought to our attention and is currently under investigation by development.
