    Question for other Conj's

    Is there some super bad macro out there or something? Just asking as the last run I did the healer was constantly, and I do mean almost constantly trying to sleep everything. Mainly being my target so we know how well that went. It was Toto Rak so there are webs as well as the sacks that explode. To say the least one time he tried sleeping the webs... and during the final boss he tried sleeping the boss countless times as well as the sacks that appear (of course making them explode in the process).

    Long story short I never though the archers LB would be useful in a lower level dungeon. .__.;

    Just a bad healer. When I'm playing WHM I use a sleep macro to support groups when a BLM isn't handy or if a ranged DPS accidentally pulls aggro via improper targeting. If he's sleeping your target, then he simply didn't understand the class mechanics.

    Handy Sleep Macro for WHMs:
    /macroicon "Repose"
    /enemysign ignore1 <t>
    /party Sleeping <t> -- Please don't attack them!
    /ac "Repose" <t>

    That is pretty strange. Sounds like you just got someone who doesn't understand the game mechanics .

    I don't know if it was a "bad" whm. Maybe it was their first time there or they are still new to mechanics. Who knows really. I also here that ps3 players have a harder time healing. Some overuse the sleep spell to make up for it. Were you marking mobs during the dungeon? Were the dps attacking the sleeping mobs? Sometimes people don't explain anything. You could say "Sleep the mobs" and in their mind if they haven't done it before it literally means to them "Sleep all the mobs." Of course this is a mmorpg. You are playing with people of all kinds of ages. Just expect the worse to happen.

    If you were having a problem with someone you should have taken a moment and explained something to them. They'll never learn if you don't do that instead of complaining about them here.

    Agreed here. Particularly for low level dungeons, it's good to attempt to explain things. I had a GLA who wouldn't finish his Halone combo on the target he pulled because he was tab-targetting too early. I just gave him some advice and the dungeon was smoother.

    On higher level dungeons and definitely during endgame, people are much more prideful about their roles and can feel a lot more offended if you offer advice. But you usually have players during the lowbie dungeons that are willing to learn.
