    Archer/Bard - Quick Nock Use

Currently i am a lvl 34 bard and i am curious as to why quick nock is given at level 18.

Reason i ask/say this is that even now when in instances it seems the main method is only attack one enemy at a time (others are asleep most of the time).

Or is this a skill for you don't have a party member than can cast sleep.

It just seems to me that this is a wasted skill at lower levels (unless doing FATEs) for dungeons..... or have i just had the wrong parties...or playing wrong in your opinion?

The only time I use Quick Nock is when it procs after Rain of Death due to 0 TP usage, reason is the fan shape is too narrow especially at low levels plus the TP it uses seems not reasonable at all.

I use it all the time. It's more TP efficient than wide volley, and hits a bigger area (the fan is rather wide so it's easy to position yourself for it). You need to be closer to the mobs to use it though, so there's that.

    I don't always use quick-nock.

But when I do, I make sure that all of the mobs are sleeping first.

Here's a suggestion for AoE in general, that I heard from a friend. If you're going to use it, make sure you're fighting a group of enemies with one of them about to die (meaning Misery's End is available for use). It damages the other enemies a bit, and can help finish off the one you're currently fighting. That's about the only time I ever use AoE other than killing groups of weak things that need to be killed ASAP. I avoid using AoE otherwise, it's not worth the aggro it gives nor the cost.

I use it on turn 4 binding coil mostly when I don't see alot of procs on wide volley(usually after I get to around 400TP left and then have to use invigorate)

aside from that yeah Fates I guess tagging mobs
