The Hidden Chapter - 25THM quest

At Boretalith's request, here is the new thread concerning this bug (along with carefully filled out template...yay!).

If you are reading this and having trouble with the quest, please follow the bug report template so that the thread does not get closed by moderators for lacking sufficient information.

The Hidden Chapter - 25THM quest - Unable to progress after clicking on Cocobuki at Thal's respite.

    Frequency:
    Always

    Character Name:

    ....Highlander F

    World:
    Hyperion

    Class/Level:
Thaumaturge 50 (Having to re-do the thaumaturge and black mage quests so that I can start the Black Mage relic quest.)

    Area and Coordinates:
    Eastern Thanalan, X25, Y14, Tha'ls Respite

    Party or Solo:
    Solo

    NPC Name:
    Cocobuki

    Monster Name:
    None

    In-Game Time:
    It occurs at all times.

    Steps:
After progressing to the point in the quest that directs you to Eastern Thanalan; I went there, clicked on the NPC: Cocobuki and a prompt is supposed to come up to enter you into a duty-fight. The prompt does not come up at all, the client freezes for a half second before returning to a normal state as if you'd never clicked on the NPC.

Talking to the other four NPCs around Cocobuki does nothing to advance the quest, but as it stands now there is zero way to complete the quest.

This bug is repeatable, there have been many that are unable to complete our black mage quests... I don't think anyone can at this point in time. I saw no fewer than twenty people on Hyperion trying tonight and not a single one was able to progress.

    Thank you for your time.

Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
