To switch between them I use the 16th slot, where each one is macro to switch to the next. 1->2->3->1

Character configuration -> Hotbar settings -> Cross
Turn on "Enable customization for when weapon is drawn" and under it Hotbar 1-3
Then you can also switch between the first 3 cross-hotbars with simple pressing R1 if your weapon is drawn.

i cleared t4 on ps3 last week, playing on gamepad is just a matter of getting used to it.

The only problem u may encounter is if u dont have another device that gives u access to VOIP.
