SE, give your technicians or whatever they are some proper tools to "restore" items and not copy/paste some database rows to avoid this mess <,<
If the time spent to solve all these issues was put in developing proper tools and then using them to solve the original issue you would solve the new ones faster and offer a proper customer support service…
Sorry it may have been explained wrong, Basically i have had a restoration(recently. (but hacked,going back 3+ weeks since i handed in my first lot of forms), I made sure i put the date on the form to the day i was hacked (still had my relic that day) so when i got a restoration i would have my relic + gil etc. This was not the case (they said i had chosen a restoration date without this) i believe that is utter crap. So now that i have had my restoration, i have no relic weapon, no myth chest, no myth pants,lost certain DL pieces, lost all the GIL i had made in mean time which was 700k starting from scratch..but they did replace it to the original (500k gil) before i was hacked. Now with all that, I also cannot re start my relic quest because it says in my journal that it is completed, i have been to every NPC that gives this quest to make sure but have had no luck. I don't understand why SE cannot simply *generate items and gil* to send back players via mail then go through this rediculous process. GM's and live support are utterly useless except telling you everything is going to be ok...
I've been left with either QUITTING or starting an entire NEW character, and the support team has not given a care in the world to this problem or issue.
First response i had got from a GM was *this was my fault because i logged in while the restoration process was happening* Firstly live support told me my account was meant to be temporarily disabled to ensure this doesn't happen.
After flooding the GM with 5 more messages of the same thing i get a response saying *your restoration has been completed but you chose a date when you did not have the relic weapon and this is out of our scope as a GM* (useless)
Next i went onto live support hoping for a last resort, yet again, they cannot tell me anything because they cannot visually see inside the game *or something* so they are pretty much useless aswell.
The small things that i noticed about this restoration was, i still had a retainer i had made after i was hacked, i still had items like high level armorer crafts(my armorer was lvl 47-48) in my retainer that i had made after being hacked.
I could have dealt with just losing some items and gone through the pain of getting relic + myth again. But this is just way too far and such a complete joke on behalf of the support team from SE.
It took nearly a entire MONTH, from when i first lodged my form after being hacked, expecting to be better then blizzard support and have my GIL only sent back to me straight away or in a day or two, The lack of communication or standing by your policies is a complete sham and the priorities at which issues like this are severely lacking. When i made contact with a GM after being hacked they had linked me to the EU website to fill the form, they replied back to me in a email in FRENCH, what good is that to a english speaking customer(lol).I then smartened up and put NA in the url instead of EU and finally got a response saying *sorry bla bla bla* (still not acceptable). After that there was no more contact even though in that email that was in english had said look out for more email on updates with your restoration etc. Well not a single thing happened after that, and the support team don't even care,i mean it took litterally a month to restore my account? and lose all that hard work.. this is in your policy to have it done between 7-10 days, and temporarily suspend the account so you can't log on,(that being confirmed by live support). They had even forgotten about my first restoration form that i had sent in with personal identification (passport and drivers licence) and that's some personal shit right there. At the moment i'm actually sorry to say but blizzard have a better support system right now and SE have a long way to go before shit like this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Thats bullshit, I have had the same experience with the SE support it is dead set the worst you get alot better support in every other MMO even the free ones.
I bought my relic weapon bits, completed entire quest to AK then the quest chain bugged out and i lost my weapon and the quest.
They said they "cant restore" or give me back the gill spent on the item, restore the quest chain or the half finished weapon so i can atlest start the quest chain again.
It took them four days to reply back to me, i sent in a reply the same day and i haven't even got a reply back in about two weeks now.
What type of game cant even restore or help out there PAYING customers. It is a joke, this game im sure has lost hundreds of customers already that needed restores like Australia did but they dont know how to.
Im one of the stupid people that paid for the 90 day subscription. I wont be renewing with the SE support the way it is.
I totally agree, i've never had a problem like this ever with an mmo for restoring items or ingame currency. This is an atrocity and i chose my word carefully to describe how i feel about this support system. I am more then sure the developers/creators are not willing to lose customers over shitty support. Someones ass will be fired if the population starts decreasing dramatically over situations like this. Blizzard is greedy but maybe i'm starting to think it's worth going back to their game titles JUST to receive the game support we so sorely deserve. If this is not fixed by the time my account runs out as i just bought 90days 2 weeks ago, i won't ever be re subscribing either. Good luck SE may the force be with you.(choose the light)

My boyfriend was hacked got his account escalated on sept 21 and still nothing.
If this was another MMO, the GM would have deemed your achievements and quest completion as enough evidence to send you your relic back. I also believe they keep some sort of record of myth earned/spent, so the GM may also be able to restore your AFv2 without actually having to roll it back to a certain day. In other games, GMs will review your account and then in-game MAIL you the missing items. This is their go-to solution when quests are bugged, can't be completed, etc. It gives the dev team some time to fix the bugs while the GMs provide the 'quick fix' to affected players. A lack of GM response or tools to help players has resulted in a HUGE list of tickets that GMs really don't have the time to answer directly. The best you'll get is something generic. With all the money this game is generating, I can only assume that more GMs will be hired and their system will be altered in some way...
Now, I'm curious... why did you log in when the restoration was under way? I would have been way too paranoid to log in before I received the "Your account has been restored" e-mail because something bad might happen if you interrupt the process. o.o;;
Also, food for thought. Which exact date did you give for the restoration? It's possible the people who hacked your account took control of it that day, logged in, and dumped all of your 'unnecessary' gear to make room for all the stuff they would farm. This seems odd considering the armory chest is 'separate', but this is what hackers do in other MMOs.. they destroy all your gear but gear needed to farm. Although I do remember this one time... My account was hacked in WoW (YEARS after I had last played... no idea who got my password or how since I don't use it for anything else and the last time I logged in was 2+ years prior). Everything was restored -- except my gear. I couldn't find it anywhere. It was really bothering me because everything I had were aesthetic pieces for the memories. Then I looked in the bank... The hacker, instead of dropping or disenchanting my gear, dumped ALL of my gear in the bank for safe keeping. o.O;;
The odd thing was, i mentioned as above i didn't actually log in while the restoration was being active, I also had no communication as to when it was going to happen(time frame), also the the provided evidence from live support saying that i should not be able to log in while the restoration is underway. I am use to restorations like Blizzard does for WoW, not this 2nd class copy and paste and hope it all works. The day before i was hacked / hour time which is what they ask for on the form, is what i provided them with. In any case you would think they would notice when 500k all of a sudden went missing, shocked that they don't even keep that recorded. None of my gear was or inventory was touched by the hacker, only the gil(which even i was surprised about) amazingly this seems like a quick steal and go because i was awake only 4 hours after i had been to sleep. But yea i had the same issue on wow, except he sold all my raid gear and kept my pvp gear.

I am a Player on Shiva(EU) from Germany. I made a Ticket 4 weeks ago for the same reason. I got hacked. I got no reply to my Ticket..just the normal auto reply for puttin in every little thing from my Account. Never got a reply to this. After another 2 days my Ticket was gone so i thought they have too much to do, thats the reason why the ticket got deleted. Last sunday i got kicked out of the game and my account got deactivated for 45 minutes and this Wednesday i know why. They reseted my Items to the day were i made the ticket. Discussing with GMs is just plain useless cause they just say "In the Terms it says you shouldn't play until the account is restored. Otherwise you can lose everything you got until now". How the hell should i know if i don't get a reply that they are working on my problem. I would have said they shouldn't bother with it, in 4 weeks i could have gotten my Gil easier than my whole darklight equip now.
