Primal Bow Farming

Garuda Bow Farming: I have been farming this bow since last week (been into several groups) and honestly all Garuda drops are books, Anyhow still no BOW, I am really doubting if it is even being dropped now. I fear that, there seems to be a cap on the primal weapons... i fear that there is only a limit on how many weapons there are in the game at any given time, and if the cap is reached the weapons would no longer be dropped specially if they are a DPS weapon. I mean if you it is random, how random can it be that out of 10 fights you get 8 books? 0.0 any ideas on this?

Took me 64 kills total on Garuda to get her bow to drop. This was 2 weeks after launch, so it's really just your bad luck.

But why 8 Books vs. 2 other weapon drops? It is the same, even with the Ifrit Drop, it seems like that Disciples of Magic have a higher chances of getting a primal weapon than the BRD. For Ifrit it is Cudgel run always.

The books do seem to drop more frequently or I am just stupid lucky as I got Ifrit SMN and SCH books both after one try and Garuda SCH Book after 3 tries. I am sorry for your pain. ><

Been trying to get my BLM staff from Garuda.

In over 30 runs I've seen a ton of bows, sch books, tank swords drop.

But only 2 BLM staves.

Your not the only one, Books seem to drop ALOT more than most weapons

All just random chance... I got my garuda weapon the first time I even tried Garuda lol. I feel bad for those that have to fight her 50+ times because of bad luck.

lol I got Ifrits book on my 6th try I think then I got my book 4th time with Garuda I just hope Titan is the same. :P

The Primals must think we're stupid because books drop all the time.

I got my Garuda's bow on my 50th+ or something run, all of which were farming parties only lotting for one weapon. In all those runs bow only dropped twice. Books, books, books for everyone!

It's all random. I've done my due with Garuda and finally got the Garuda's Scream this morning to replace my Darklight Bill.
