Item Signing Disappearing

So I noticed when you craft an item, it automatically signs it at the bottom. That's awesome. Had to use a special crystal in FFXI if I recall to do that.

Here's the crappy thing. When I craft something for a friend, and either mooglebox or trade it to them, the signing disappears! Anyone else noticing that? The only time I seem to beable to see signing staying is when you get it off the marketplace (which makes a lick 'o' sense. if it's gonna disappear at all, shouldn't it be the other way?).

It also seems that other people can't see the signing when your examined? I was wearing all crafted gear that I could see my signing on, but my buddy examined me couldn't see it.

I know it's a vanity feature, but is anyone else noticing that it seems somewhat broken right now?

It's a bug (hopefully a known issue, but I personally haven't submitted a bug report for it). If you look at the bottom of the item, you can still see room for the name, but it is missing (whereas an item bought from an NPC doesn't have this extra space at the bottom). Also, if the item(s) in question show up on your lodestone profile, the name is present, so thanks to that, you can rest assured that the name data is indeed still there, the problem merely lies in the display of the names. Hopefully they fix it soon.
