Actually to that specific point was why, in the old days, Horde used to roflstomp Alliance in PvP. Horde would communicate, Alliance would say, "Dont tell me what to do." at every turn lol.
I... am not sure why you quoted me.I can't to do voice chat, be it on PC or PS3. If it is needed, count me out. Same reason I don't allow talking in a car if I am driving. I can talk, listen, or actually focus on what I am doing. Don't ask me to do all three at the same time or my ability to do all of them will be compromised.
Also, I often find myself with amazingly good PS3 players. Some of the best players I have come across are on PS3. Some of the worst I have come across are also on PS3. Sadly I think the problem is people already have a bias going in, and see the bad ones, and automatically assume it proves their bias.

You didn't need a PS3 either. And the money for a PS3 could have gone to a computer that is far better than a PS3. It doesn't cost thousands of dollars for a PC that can run anything on the market with flying colors.
With that said though, if someone has a PS3 already and doesn't have the money to upgrade their computer(or just isn't a computer person), then it's their choice to play it on a console. You just have to have the understanding that it IS inferior to the alternative. Can you still play and do well? Absolutely. But it shouldn't be a shock that others can't even fathom it considering the massive step up a computer is.
I believe this has been said before, and maybe in this thread....not reading it all. I wont question why you play on the console as I welcome the added player base(as long as the psn isn't xXDarkKnight420Xx lol) just don't blame any shortcomings on the ps3 like not dodging an aoe or being able to do....well much of anything.
My wife plays on a PS3 and she dodges AOE better than anyone in our FC, so anyone saying that just sucks and has nothing to do with the system.I believe this has been said before, and maybe in this thread....not reading it all. I wont question why you play on the console as I welcome the added player base(as long as the psn isn't xXDarkKnight420Xx lol) just don't blame any shortcomings on the ps3 like not dodging an aoe or being able to do....well much of anything.
Edit: @ Battlewrench I figured as much, just wanted to reiterate to squash any false belief about PS3 dungeon performance. ^^

PC Master Race.

If you're done with your sermon about real life now...I've been playing the game since early access on PS3. I did beta 3 and 4 on PC. When I say that I'm playing on PS3 pretty much everyone in the entire game has the same reaction. "Why the F**k would anyone ever play this game on PS3" Which is usually followed by some sort of BS about graphics. (which is probably the absolute LEAST important thing to me when choosing a game to play btw).
Short version, because my PC isn't powerful enough to run the game smoothly. It kept overheating and I had to turn the graphics settings almost all the way down just to be able to even move my character.
Long version. There are things that you need, and things that you want. I NEED to pay my mortgage. I NEED to pay my utilities. I NEED to provide food, shelter and clothing for my children. I NEED to pay my wife's tuition. I NEED to pay my car payment. I NEED to pay my car insurance and gas for two vehicles. I DO NOT need a new computer, especially if it is just to be able to play ONE game. I'm not the richest man on earth. I'm not poor, but then, there are things that I need, and there are things that I want, and then there is paying hundreds, perhaps thousands of dollars on a computer I don't need, or even really want. Especially when the game I want to play is also available on a system that I already own. I could buy that new computer, but then I would have to take money out of the account I set up to save for college for my children. Sorry boys, daddy wanted to play video games so you can pay for your own college. Or I could take money from my rainy day fund. Sorry boys, daddy can't afford to fix the roof because he would rather be playing video games.
Do you see what I'm getting at here? When you move out of your parents' home, and provide for yourself and your family completely, without aid from your parents in any way, there are far more important things to spend your money on, or put it away to save for. Why would I spend a few thousand bucks on a computer that would mostly be used for MS office and internet surfing, when i could just as easily play this game on a system I already own and be quite happy with it?
So, the next time you feel the need to belittle someone because they choose to play on PS3 instead of PC, maybe you should ask yourself if maybe playing a video game in full resolution/graphics mode might not be the most important thing in that person's life. The happiness and security of my family always comes before leisure activities that I can live without.
Nobody really cares why you are playing on PS3. It's just the cool (and stupid) thing to do to laugh at those who do and question why. Now here's a question: why do you care what they think? Why even announce that you're on PS3? (outside of a request to jump on voice chat anyway)
I'm not saying this to be a jerk, just to offer constructive advice. You can ignore what 99% of people say because most of it, especially on the internet is worth less than the fecal matter you flush down the toilet on a daily basis. Obviously I'm being facetious about the 99% thing... but think about what people say before you decide it's worth replying to, thinking about or being annoyed by. The dude telling me that if I change my rotation this way or that can improve my dps or let me move around more to avoid stuff is trying to be helpful. The idiot that says "lol why would you play with such crappy graphics" is not worth your time.
Don't give the idiots out there the power to ruin your day.
*Disclaimer: I don't care what system you play on as long as you can do your share and dodge stuff.

The only time I announce I'm on PS3 is if I'm in Castrum and everybody is too busy being a speed demon to notice that I'm still loading. So I announce it in hopes they don't pre-maturely engage the boss and lock me out..
