Suggestion on Blacklisting RMT Who Spam /Tell

Issue: RMT spam /tell, and since most of them have long names comprised of random letters, it is difficult to blacklist them. Also, since then can spam their /tell from anywhere in the world, it is probably impossible to report them.

    Suggestions:

    1. Add a right-click option to the three existing ones saying "Add to Blacklist."

    2. Whether this is possible or not, I don't know, but in addition to "Add to Blacklist" have a fifth option that says something like "Report RMT." This would take you directly to the Report Cheating form with the name of the RMT automatically inserted. One could then fill in the rest of the required information normally (except for Area, which as previously mentioned would be unknown.)

Thank you for listening. Hopefully something can be done about this annoyance.

Directly after you get a RMT /tell use this or make a macro for it:

    /blist add <r>

<r>= the last person to /tell you.

You still have to type the name of the person in your blacklist, and if he is using a long combination of random letters, this is very difficult to do. Other games are set up so that a simple right-click will blacklist a person. Why can't FFXIV?

The <r> auto fills in the name of the last person to send you a tell. You dont have to type it manually.

A better questions is why the hell cant SE find these people and ban them on their own? How hard is it to track a character sending tells to the entire f-ing server? It should be very simple for them to set something up to track that and shut them down quickly. With how lax they are on gold spammers I have a strong feeling they dont want to get rid of them at all. I think they are enjoying the profits it gets them and forgetting they are losing players over it.

No, they need to implement an in-chat blacklist method. Plain and simple. No ands, ifs, or buts about it.
