    Camera won't stop moving (PC) - 2nd thread! Not fixed!

    I am re-posting this because despite my problem being directed to the development team, NOTHING has been done and it's a problem that I have been dealing with for 5 months! I am PAYING for this service and I expect this problem to be fixed! I have even made a short recording of my camera spinning issue to help move things along a bit! PLEASE can you get this fixed ASAP or I'm refusing to re-new my subscription when the time comes. I am fed up of having to constantly correct my camera angle, it makes targeting mobs/people difficult and it gives me a headache after a while.

    Steps:
    1. From the select character screen all the way until I log off my camera will not stop rotating in any direction it wants to! The only time it stops is during cutscenes. It makes it very difficult to target the right NPC's, monsters etc, and even though I can just about control it using my analogue stick, it's starting to really irritate me.
    From what I've been told, the animation lock is only supposed to make the camera rotate when you have been idle for a period of time. This needs fixing!

    It is NOT my controllers, however it does seem to only affect 360 pad users and possibly some mouse users from what I have seen.

    I am having a similar problem...I logged in a few days ago and then my camera automatically, and very slowly, pans towards the top and stays there. I just can't change it; at all. It has pretty much pushed the game into an unplayable state.

    I know you said it's not your controller, but does it do it when it's not plugged in? (unplug any controllers you have and load the game, if it's still doing it, you know it's not controller related) What you're describing sounds exactly like a controller where the calibration of an analogue stick isn't quite right.

    To calibrate controllers, go to Windows' Control Panel and look for something like "Setup USB Game Controllers" (it varies slightly depending on your version of Windows). When in there you should be able to calibrate it.

    I had this problem, it ended up being my controller, it was a cheap aftermarket one. I am currently waiting for an adapter for Xbox360 so I can use an official Microsoft controller.

    Oh my gosh; I didn't even think about that. I use a cheap Logitech one now and then! I unplugged it and it worked.

    I've done all of that. How can it be all 3 controllers? 2 wireless ones and a wired one. They all do it but only on FFXIV. I never had this problem on XI or any other game. If I unplug it, it stops but I could calibrate it until the cows come home, and it wouldn't fix it.

    Bump! Still happening, have recalibrated my controllers and it has made no difference. All I want is for the development team to have a look and see what is going on, then tell me whether it is me or the game. If it's the game then it needs fixing because I can't pay for a spinning world because it's annoying and makes everything more difficult.

    I don't want to spend money on a new controller when I'm pretty sure it's not my hardware at fault considering a number of other 360 pad users have had the same issues.

    Up it goes! This is still happening and I want it fixed! Sort it out! I want to be able to play this game like everyone else does without a constantly spinning camera!
