Last night the other tank sat at the entrance the whole time. When we questioned him he said "my controller is broken"

I wonder how he got in with a broken controller?

I guess he fixed the controller by the end, just in time i suppose. It was a pain being the only tank but we completed it still.

His first name was ryu and if i ever see him again ill let the group know what the deal is.

if it was Ryu Mon, he's on sargatanas and he does that all the time sadly... his controller is NOT broken. ;P

I got stuck in a party with him.

have had this same toon join in multiple CM runs as a tank and he just sits there which then results in the group not finishing/starting the run.

Not that I condone anyone going AFK in CM to leach tomestones. But I have got to say it, if the other tank is worth his salt, you can clear the entire thing even with the other tank AFK.

I refuse to do that as a matter of principle. If no one let the leechers leech they might eventually give up. But seriously, SE needs to either let them be kicked or at least ban the heck put of these folks, because they sure won't care the slightest about not being voted Most Valuable Player.

I agree, but I also think about the other 6 people in the party getting screwed (especially the dps). If the other tank decides they wanna afk, I'm not going to let that stop me or the other 6 people from getting our stones, rather than those other people going back into queue for potential hours.

True, it is a bit of a moral dilemma. I at least offer to leave first and take the 15 min cool down.

Please see the post I am quoting from above that I posted YESTERDAY.

1) People still run CM?
2) MVP system in 2.1 is hoped to keep people from doing this.
3) If MVP system doesn't work, they did mention they'd look at vote-kick for 2.2 or 2.3
4) Perhaps you shoul run WP/AK instead (gear + tomes!)

I cannot quote it, as I don't really wanna go back looking into it trying to find it, but one of the representative guys on the forum, yes those with yellow background and different pictures, said their development team was looking into the possible implementation of a VTK (vote to kick) system.
