You would be much better off waiting on the solid state drive. It's not a necessity. Not to mention you could save that money and go with an intel cpu. Which is a much stronger gaming chip.

Upgrading to a solid state drive isn't essential... however it will be one of the most noticeable upgrades. When you go from 40 seconds boot times to desktop to under 10 seconds you're left with this feeling of amazement.
Clearly, "amazement" is the entirety of your knowledge base for system-building.
Fair, but if you aren't deconstructing an existing rig, I find it hard to get by on 120GB. Hell, I find it hard to get by on 2.5TB, ha!
