Actually built this rig to replace my g73, it was a great laptop but can't handle max settings. Does high though. I miss the flexibility of a desktop and wanna be ready for next gen. Thinking of selling it but not sure what the g73 goes for, I also paid 1200 for mineBuilt my rig to play 1.0 payed about 1500.00 then could probably do it for 800.00 or so now
ASUS Crosshair Formula IV MB
AMD 1090T CPU OC'd 4.2ghz
AMD 6970 GPU
Corsair 850w PSU (a bit much but wanted to be able to upgrade cards in the future)
Samsung SSD 8 series pro 256
1TB 7200 rpm HD
Corsair H80 liquid cooling
Windows 7 ultimate
22" ACER Monitor
8g Ram 1600 gskill
Like I said 1500.00 buck three or so years ago.
Should be able to to get close to that 700-900 bucks
SSD was added later so that was not in original price.
ALSO have an ASUS G73 laptop that plays the game great 1200.00 for that
Make sure you buy good name brand parts ASUS and Corsair are a couple of my favorites. Intel chips are going to better for gaming, but AMD work fine too.
