PvP and the river of cries

I've always loved PvP. From Ultima Online to DaoC to Darkfall.. I love good competition. When I look at the forums and see people asking for nerfs of other classes when the game is PvE only, makes me cringe to think about what QQ PvP could bring.

Think about it.. the classes you are doing Titan and Coil with are only helping you if they are overpowered, but there is still a decent amount of whining. When that same class can knock your head off in PvP, there will be an explosion of tears.

I do pray that they instance PvP in a way that changes to PvP don't effect PvE and vice versa. Still, get your Gallagher garbage bags, here comes the QQ rainstorm!

Well hopefully if they take PvP remotely serious they make skills function differently there and then take a more GW2 approach and balance them both separate.

I agree, all the people whining about bard nerfs... pathetic this is how the community turns out, so selfish, only fixated on themselves, screw everyone else! Only I matter!

Most people would rather focus on one job only, so it makes sense that they want their job to be as useful as others. Of course that doesn't mean that crying for nerfs is always justified, in most cases it's a simple qq

Anyway, better to get used to it. No matter at which mmo forum you'll take a look at, there are always people crying about EVERYTHING. I doubt it'll be any different here (and it actually isn't already, if you think 'bout it).

Now, the real question is whether nerfs and buffs will be made for valid reasons. For now though it's best to wait and see rather than believe that the qq'ers will be our balancing team.

Yeah, I can't understand why people complain if a class is supposedly op or "too easy" to play for pve. If you like it easy, play the easy class and done.

It has been known for a long time that pvp and pve will be balanced differently. So to those that were qqing bards were op, I can't think nothing else but that they were jealous.

You know what is just as bad or worse than people whining? Is other people making general conclusions about the entire community.

They already announced abilities would be balanced separately between PVE and PVP. No worries here.

However, yes, people will whine about anything so I would expect copious amounts of whining once it goes live in 2.1.

You think it's bad now, just imagine how it will be when we actually know what the changes/nerfs actually are, as well as what PvP will be like. It's all speculation right now based on a comment and a short trailer.
