Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We, the concerned community of Balmung, are glad your guild of 120+ members have found the courage to bring this issue to the forefront. No longer are the personal messages or shouts to the Titan Merc groups enough to satisfy the need for retribution. Now it has been brought to a different medium such as a Snickers bar on an empty stomach.

We must be strong and purge the evil Titan selling Merc monsters from our realm via verbal abuse. We must strive to show our way is superior to theirs by making long winded self-serving posts embedded with inaccurate information. We will not falter as long as we have each other!

We also do Chimera to Titan but that costs a bit more

This isn't about you. This is about HotT and the larger Balmung community. We are apologizing because someone who had our FC tag was doing actions we consider wrong.
So no I don't apologize for you. That would be silly. Your relationships are for you to handle.
You may have been the individual involved, but we were the ones who allowed you to wear the Hott tag. Therefore an apology from Hott to the Balmung community was necessary and appropriate.
I know we will disagree on the appropriateness of selling Titan runs. That's ok.

However little you may care about the rage of the larger Balmung community, there is a relationship between the larger community and Hott. It was damaged because of this. I do not hold you at fault for the entire thing. After all the shouter should have made sure that we were guilty before raging. I should have made it more clear in our rules that advertising as well as selling runs is not ok.

The apology was not about you. However this is the full sequence of events. I gave you 24 hours to consider whether you would stay with us or keep advertising Titan runs. During this time I asked that you not advertise while you considered. To your credit you were an adult about this. The next day after work, I logged in to see you had left the fc. I then booted you from the LS and our website. It is possible that you and I are both correct. You both left and were booted.

Speaking just for myself, I wish you happiness as you play FFXIV.

Actually I consider this post to be have a positive effect on the community. As selling Titan runs is a detriment to the community. Many new players that hit the Titan brick wall will consider buying gil so as to progress. Personally this is my feelings and I don't express anyone's felling's other then my own; however, Selling Titan wins is no better then being a gilfinder yourself. It will normally end you up on the blacklist as fast as I see the shout. Many I know feel the same way. However, to each their own.
