    Coils Gear.

    Hi guys,

    To those with experience at coils what would be the rough minimum gear set up for a WHM?

    I would say that they are indeed needed. 1st turn is incredibly healing intensive especially if your tank doesnt have any myth or allagan pieces yet. You can do turn 1 with less gear but since darklight is farmable I dont really see any reason not to be fully geared going in. It's going to be tough anyway so no point making it harder on yourself than necessary.

    when we cleared turn 4 we were still not fully DL geared.. About 3 had full DL.
    Needed no... preferred 100%.

    It all depends on the ability of the raid. there is no must haves. If you are vets of MMOs and rank high in other games, then you can get away with less gear. If you are less talented then gear can help push content for you.
    So figure out the dps and hps of your group and figure out if you need more gear. HM Titan is actually a good measuring stick. If you get through this with minimal issues, then turn 1 and 2 should be doable.
    Both fights are tightly tuned and call for people to be on their A game.
    So some might do it less, but that wont let you know how YOUR company will do.
    I know we are all mostly geared with DL and more then 1/2 of us have our +1 and turn one was not too hard, but took us to our limits.
    But again, that is us. Others did more with less, and some are struggling with more.

    Thanks for the input. Currently I'm not in a FC that is at that level. My gear set is full DL and relic weapon, guess I'm good there. Would you guys recommend joining pugs and groups that shout for one to gain experience?

    On my server people pug up to turn 3 at least. So sure it can't hurt to join a group if they are looking. I would recommend finding a guild group looking to fill a spot then a full on pug. It does take communication and leadership to get through the fights.
