I've had a pet pull the boss out of that room and I jumped over the balcony and towards the end of the stairs so she would reset.

Dear Party,
Turn your wounds into wisdom. Stay out of the red so I don't beat you myself.
Love from your Healer, Jaine Deaux
Only Selene does this. Eos will get stabbed by Tonberry Stalker and try to heal herself (or anyone else within her range that Stalker got), but that's about it. No deliberate attacking or aggroing.
If the pet isn't in steady stance they will react to attacks made against them or their master. This is most commonly an issue in AK where the succubus AOEs have insanely long range causing your pet to charge through other mobs to retaliate. There are other dungeons, however, where some mobs are scripted to run away before dying, and the pet will chase after them, often aggroing other groups in the process.
The solution is really just to pay better attention to your pet. They do not randomly charge off for no reason. Just keep an eye on them and hit the 'heel' command if they start running after something you don't want them to.
happened to me several times but with the last boss of the manor.
my pet runs into the boss even though it's very far away. must be a bug, I guess.
I had never seen EoS act so stupid before, I hardly mess with her commands. Then this one time... She went and aggro a group of mobs ten miles ahead of the group and I was like wtf.. She went straight for them then got herself 0HKO'd lol it was funny. Thankfully the tank picked up aggro pretty quick xD
Since this happened to me in Haukke Manor, I made it a point to always watch what my pets are doing and command them manually.
Eventually grew tired of it and started playing as Black Mage. Lots of free keybinds too...
Eos likes to charge Ifrit too at the start of a brand new fight.. The party reaction when that happens is always priceless ^^;;
