I'm not sure about potions, but I heard Raging Strikes does.
LB depends on stats solely
even buffs doesnt raise the dmg
i tried using LB2 against titan HM both with 20% dmg increase and without
and i still deal 10800 on him regardless
Some guy in Reddit did some testing with a level 1 LB, and discovered that it is apparently the combined weapon damage that is the biggest factor for a Limit Break.
He tested it by having a full DL and +1 relic party, and they dealt 5.5k damage on a melee DD LB with everyone wearing their gear.
They went naked bar for their weapons and got the same result.
When only one was using his relic and the rest with level 1 weapons, the damage dropped to 1.8k. This was tested again naked, same result.
And it doesn't matter which DD it is coming from, a DRG with a 55 GC weapon will LB as hard as a relic +1 DRG who is in the same party. It literally is 'The power of the party' kinda thing, not the individual it seems.
Meaning that you want your worst DPS to use it so that everybody else can carry on putting our their higher damage. Some guy in Reddit did some testing with a level 1 LB, and discovered that it is apparently the combined weapon damage that is the biggest factor for a Limit Break.

I think this is true. Over 100s of run in castrum my LBs do 8k-13k and there is no way that if going by my skill that I would hit 8k over and over and then some runs 13k+ unless Crit applies which I doubt. The damage is to inconsistent for it to go by the Users Skills and Buffs. I use to use BfB/IR/GL3 then LB but I stopped doing that and still see the same numbers. Some guy in Reddit did some testing with a level 1 LB, and discovered that it is apparently the combined weapon damage that is the biggest factor for a Limit Break.

LB absolutely depends on stats, but if you use a potion to increase it it increases the damage. Using Raging Strikes prior also absolutely increases the damage. I experiemented with this during Beta with Pugilist hitting Berserk and Raging to LB2 Aiatar. That was when I was running that dungeon 20+ times and took plenty of opportunity to measure using potions, using buffs, etc, to determine variables in LB damage. Berserk was taken away as a cross-class skill for Beta 4, but this still works for others.
Pop a potion, pop any other cooldowns you can use, hit LB. Watch things explode.
But this is only for damage.
