Perhaps some sort of new and revolutionary mail system? I don't know where I've seen that kind of thing before... I know it's cutting edge and almost unheard of to have that in a game. I'm pretty sure SE has no basis for comparison on a system like that though.

With the addition of a mail system it would also be nice to have a place of our own, like moghouses in FFXI, from which to collect our mail. I'm not saying I want the exact same thing, but it WAS really nice to have a little place to display all the things I had gathered through my travels for all my friends to see.

YES! Mail please! Its so hard to give pple things when you have to hand them over to them when they are right next to you or online. There have been so many times when I've been like this game needs a mail system of some kind, I have so much stuff I need to give to pple. I really don't care what type of system you add you can always tweak it later, just add something! Soon! PLEASE!

Someone on the Zam forums suggested Moogle Mail!

The idea was that you would need to complete a series of quests for the moogles (YAY! Fun Quests!) and as a reward receive a (mog whistle?) (NPC Linkpearl?) to be able to call the moogle couriers.

Once summoned, you can meet the courier at the nearest Aetheryte/Aetherial Node and they can pick up/deliver items to anyone for a fee like huggable, fuzzy Fed Ex.

By restricting access to the Aetherial areas, it keeps it (for lack of a better word) fair, and the fee would provide a little bit of a needed gil-sink. However, I REALLY hope that if this (or similar) is implemented that Square will bump the item slots up from 4. Maybe to 8? Split the difference, and go for 6? *wink wink*
