I'm on the PS3 and I don't get hit by anything

I seem to have the opposite issue to many people, in that everything functions server-side (buffs activate, attacks land) but the animation doesn't trigger at my end. I've mentioned it before, but it's not unusual for mounts to take 10-20 seconds to load. And I can't count the amount of times I've had to stand and wait for an NPC to load - or killed an enemy before I've drawn my sword.

I'm on the PS3, and the lag is hilarious. Interestingly, in a different city, on a different connection, and on the PC, I have the same problem.
