The delay for moving out of area of effect abilities works the same EVERYWHERE. If you're still in the red when the cast finishes, you're gonna get hit, regardless of if you aren't there when the animation plays. If you're ever expecting it to work any other way, you're getting your hopes up for nothing, because the game wasn't designed to work that way. Learn how to play WITH the delay, rather than blaming "lag".
