Are you satisfied with this game?

Because of the server side lag I wont be subbing after my month expires. It makes some bosses stressful when they shouldn't be. I'm out of things before the cast bar reaches 100%, yet I still get hit. I've been told to cast something after you get out so the server updates you quicker, and it seems to help sometimes but not always. It's simply not fun for me.

HOWEVER, barring that, I enjoyed the game. Leveling was fun, the stories were good and the scenery is amazing. I'll be a little sad once my sub expires, but I have another MMO that I play/raid every week in so I'll live.

Long story short, it was worth the money I spent.

I don't think the game is even worth 12.99. It should be dropped to 9.99 and for the Legacy people, it should be 4.99. What is your opinion?

Nope, havn't played for two weeks now! And as a Legacy member only having to pay $7.99 a month with the 180 day sub I feel more inclined to go back to Azeroth and pay $15 a month. If 2.1 doesn't deliver I'll probably return to Azeroth or Tyria{GW2} until 2.2/2.3 and beyond. SE has already had my money{$100, or 1yr worth of sub time} since 1.0s launch, thus I'll be subbed for the next year in the least, but afterward, dunno!

Am tired of all the BS "wait a little longer" comments regarding quality-of-life-modern-day-MMO-standards that are desperately needed now and could be hotfixed in. As well the "working as intended" and "no plans to address" for current features that are mind boggling...le sigh

Yes, I am glad to say its worth my moneys worth. The downfall of the game that is a bit odd is the White Mage. In a lot of the ol'skool Final Fantasy games White Mages had attributes that help them with MP cost on they're skills. Black Mages, Scholars, and Summoners get to regain MP faster and has a skill to regain it while White Mages suffers. Seems alittle unfair plus the spell speed for Raise is slow, and at lvl. 50 it cost a lot of MP to cast!

pretty much theres some issues but overall i'm happy.
Also confused as to why they removed the option to toggle duties on the HUD that was in P3 :/ as that was a convient feature.

Think I'll enjoy it more when 2.1 adds some extra content, but saying that i'm no were near the "end" of the current build as my avatar will tell you lol.
I'll probably not renew my sub for a month or two when LR:FFXIII comes out in Feb' but thats more due to few hours game time I can squeeze in each week not a comment on ARR.

I am enjoying it, plenty to do for me, far more than just the tome grind. My current goals are:


- Get the 61 myth tomes for my relic +1 on main (OK that one is tome grind )
- Beat turn 4 with FC (we didn't do too badly last week, but another week of upgrades should get us the win)
- Begin gearing one of my alt jobs in darklight (yes another tome grind, but this is the last one, and won't be doing speed runs all night every night until it's done, planning a more casual rate).
- Finish more crafts to 50 to support my main craft (aiming to be able to consistently HQ 2 star)
- Level everything to 34 then start choosing more 50s to do (so no matter what I choose the subs should already be ready).
- Level up gathering classes (enjoying them much more than I did in 1.0).
- Start working out rotations for my black mage (haven't played much on it in ARR).
- Start stockpiling cash for FC housing (don't know how much we will need yet, and I want to contribute as much as I can when 2.1 launches).
- Beat wall in AK without gnats popping (have been in parties that have had it to about 10%, but it has become a kind of progress gauge for me, just a little goal of my own devising that will make me happy when I help achieve).
- Begin second relic (still deciding between BLM and WHM).
- Finish all my mapping achievements (I try to do them on lower jobs, which often means navigating high level areas trying to avoid aggro and dying, which makes it more fun than just charge through on a 50 on chocobo ignoring aggro).
- And most importantly of all... have fun while doing the above

Not at all. I've been enjoying the game enough to sub to see how it things go, but quite honestly this is the shallowest MMORPG I've subbed to in quite some time.

They need to give some love to character customization, crafting, gathering, guildhests, and world size before they start on that neverending balance and resource blackhole that is pvp.

crafting waste of time duty finder waste of time levelling a second combat job not much point at the moment due to the crap load of time spent on duty finder farming stones.
fates are not buch fun for new players as they can't get to most in time before a party rides in AoE's the area and rides off.
bots remind me of FFXI back when you would to windy and see 100+ fishing bots.
the game was meant to be solo friendly but isn't past level 20 as you need fates too much and how can a solo players earn relic?.
Yes I am a 1.0 legacy player yes I am a great fan of FF but no you can't do this it is becoming unplayable already it's as if you decided you want to ruin FFXIV like you did FFXI with Abysea the storyline is mmmm weak too easy and has nowt to do but teleport from A to B wait for duty finder and redo.
it would be nice for us legacy players to have something to show off that no one else can get and isn't useless after level 11 which on average is about 1 to 2 hours.
