Fresh Level 50 Players and Shout Parties

I think the main problem is the majority of players are uncompromising. I'm on turn 4 in coils and speed run with my FC. When they aren't around and I use the DF, I'm not going to expect those people to run as smoothly as the FC because they've never run with me, they might play different, I don't know what to expect from them. But it's expected, and therefor I don't think anyone should hold DF groups up to the same standards as they would their FC.

Do you need DL/Relic for AK/CM? Absolutely not. And you should not let the people requiring it make you think it is. They are requiring it to make their run go as fast as possible, not because you actually need it.

The problem isn't all on one side of the table either though. If you see people shouting for relic only speed runs, and you're a fresh 50, that shout isn't directed at you, and you shouldn't feel excluded for it. You can organize a group of your friends or use the DF until you have a static group of friends that you can invite regularly.

This mentality also bleeds into the pressure for new 50s to skip cutscenes, particularly in CM and Prae. The story is Epic, and it really kills it if you're being pressured to skip them. Can you watch them in your inn? Yes, but they're also out of order and in different sections, it's just not the way it was ment to be experienced the first time. They can't kick you, so just watch the cutescenes, either they will be impatient and clear stuff for you, or wipe, and try again once you're done.

Don't get me wrong though, I agree it's ridiculous when you see these "elitests" belittling someone who is not there yet.
