Edit - just to add this doesn't mean he is being removed from FFXIV as some might seem. I believe this new position is on top of his duties to FFXIV so shouldn't interfere with development.

i wish there was a refund, but alas, i'll just consider my CE + 3 months sub as a lesson learned. i fell for the sweet talks and grand promises, only to be left disappointed and unsatisfied.

If FFXIV leaves you unsatisfied and disappointed, then you will never be happy with anything, ever. What exactly did you want the game to do to satisfy you? Clean your house? Shampoo your hair? Walk your dog? COME THE HELL ON, it's a fun game that caters to FF fans and gives them what they were asking for since the original FFXIV came out. Whatever, you won't be missed, not even a little, so move on already. If it's not doing it for you now, then it won't do anything for you by the time your sub runs out. Consider it a financial loss and don't play it if you don't like it. For example, if I buy a burger from Burger King and I come home and it smells bad, has rotten meat inside of it and maggots crawling around in it, should I eat it because I paid for it? Of Course Not, so since your FFXIV is full of maggots and rotten meat, then why are you still playing it? Go play something else, but I can't imagine what though, cause if a FF-fan service game isn't good in your eyes, then you aren't going to enjoy anything else you play. Seems to me like you are just one of those people that just likes to complain just to hear themselves talk.

QQ led to 2.05 which is a wonderful hotfix that fixed up alot of the problems the game had. Enjoy having 2 different dungeons to farm for Myth now instand of 1 and that I get gils enough to pay my repairs from dungeons. It also led to free server transfers. It will probably lead to alot more nice stuff in the future.

They bought the game, they have every right to express their opinions. I may disagree with them, but that doesn't give me any position to tell them to shut up. I have the right to not read their posts as do you.

In general I thinks its an 'OK' game with several major flaws that I hope will be addressed eventually, but I can definitely see where some people would be disappointed with this game.
