1. Duty Finder is the issue, I watched my friend beat Titan a few days ago in Duty Finder. In fact he had the nicest people ever, twice in a row!
2. That's uncommon and to be honest I've never actually seen it happen.
3/4/5. RMT and botting will be in every MMORPG.
6. If you're questioning why you're playing a video game then you honestly should go outside or go back to CoD, hey I heard a new one with 3 new guns is coming out soon! You can buy that.
If you're not happy, leave.

I`m not bothered by RMT undercutting by 1gil when everyone else undercuts by more
If having hard time with duty finder. Find the area were everyone shouting for the pick up groups, or become friends with a tank., or find a large free company. If look hard enough most servers got some mellow free companies that take anyone and have a lot players. The market is a free market and works great. It not the RMT undercutting it the impatience people that under cut, so buy them all up and then you can jack price back up. It a stock market gamble if you do the wrong items. Supply and demand. The market Board is a mini game in it self. Can make gil on the market board if patience , or try and win the lottery or get the wal mart cheap sales. Botters are now just hurting them selfs since to much supply, and you can nerf them if take one hr and get what you need most of the time. There are some issues with botters on the mobs.
haha whining bec RMT undercut by 1 gil
you should worried player undercut more than 100 gil....or sell below sell to npc price.(MY GOD IF SELL TO NPC IS 10 GIL WHY PUT IN MARKET FOR LOWER THAN THAT)

I've never seen people leave because someone is new. Usually, someone will ask, "Have you all done this fight?" and if someone says no, they take the time to explain it. It's really simple. Though I have seen people add people into parties, and they'll ask everyone else already in the party, "You all experienced?" and fortunately, everyone says yes. I can only imagine if someone said no, they would've quit. They did explain though that they've been trying all night, and just wanted a party who knew what they were doing. (10 points if you can guess what fight I'm talking about!)
I find shouting is a lot quicker than DF. Though I prefer DF by miles, sometimes the only option you have is to shout (Chimera/Hydra - which are really hard to get groups for through shouting, ironically). But groups are easily made through shouting as well. Also a good way to make friends and maybe have a group of people you can contact for future things.
As for the RMT... I can't really comment on it. I don't do much crafting or selling on the AH, so I don't see them nor am I bothered by them. The whispers/spam shouts are annoying, but nothing a quick "add to blacklist" can't fix!

I was in a duty finder Garuda, one of the tanks said "if you don't know fight stand by me" and went off to the side. Someone did. Then "Light Party" flashed up on the screen.
But its pretty rare.
If you are in the right FC, and they arent hard to find you should never have duty finder issues. RMT will be present in any game, give SE a bit to deal with them, RMT tend to get around most measures in place to counter act them, they are sneaky like that. The RMT arent undercutting you, its the players. And who cares if they do, people undercut me all the time, but since Im not freaking out if my items dont sell in 5 minutes, 5 hours or 5 days I usually get the price I set. RMT spam is down to a few a day for me, and only in tells. Not sure what you consider spam but they are less annoying then commercials on TV and less frequent to. But as you say it's your time and money you are wasting if you are unhappy. I hope you find what you are looking for in the massive world of F2P....
