1. Experience Points
Dungeon EXP should be buffed to make it a viable alternative, this will help players learn their class and will provide more variety to the system, it's also a great way to promote your incoming MVP system, get on it!
Guild Hests should reset per class, not character..
Leves should offer triple the EXP they currently offer and have more "bonus objectives" tied to them.
Those 3 suggestions right there will help with alt leveling, fates are boring.. period.
2. Dungeons and Tome Farming
^Is one of the best Ideas I have seen for making more variety while helping everybody.Make an option to queue for ALL dungeons, and if you're level 50 using this option, you will level-sync if a low-level dungeon pops, you will also receive 100 Philosophy Tomes at the end of the dungeon. This will help low-level players stuck in the story queue-times and will also give variety to level 50 players that are sick and tired of CM/Prae/WP/AK... variety is GOOD, it's a win/win situation.
Again, this will help promote your MVP system and give more variety to level 50 players.
I completely agree, not having many options for my alts is a huge drag...
I had no intentions of making it a "doomsday" title, maybe it came off too strong... oops?
I hope you're right.
I like the second suggestion.
As for the EXP...Fates are only seen as "viable" cuz it's the fastest way to level. But you can always run dungeons...it's just a matter of whether you care about doing it the fastest way vs. the more enjoyable way. I can get about half a level running a dungeon that's appropriate for my level. Granted, it takes longer, but it's more fun for me...plus I gear up at the same time.
As I said in another thread, there's always going to be a "fastest way" to do things. That doesn't mean it's the only viable way.
Still early to tell no matter how many MMOs you have played. Not saying you are not right and do not make good points but every game I have played I have seen countless of the same thing and most are still around. Yes SE really needs to look at a few issues, but overall I think there is still a good bit of game to enjoy.
I'm glad people agree with the suggestions, I hope the cringe worthy title doesn't void my advice :P
I'm actually unable to see merchants in Mor Dhona until I get 2m away because of all the people piled up.
Look, I have nothing wrong with your suggestions. Most of them, sans the tome one, are fine, and some are already scheduled to be addressed (e.g. dungeon experience). However, the doom and gloom needs to stop.
Its an end of the world thread because you are prophesying doom and gloom if the devs dont do what you say.
I dunno where you get the dungeons are only run once ever thing... cause on Gilgamesh I have run all the dungeons (up to Haukke cause I'm only level 31) multiple times - lost track how many times I've run the first 3. People are always asking for groups for AK and WP, and the other dungeons. Always.
Love the doom-sayer threads, they are so funny!
Dont take alhanelem to heart. He is coming off too strong not you.
You are not far off. Already I am quite bored. I spend more time on the forums reading people opinions than I do playing the game. I am that bored and frustrated with it. The server stability is terrible and makes for a frustrating experience sometimes. I too have noticed declines in populations. Balmung used to have a near constant queue after the server expansions now not nearly as much. I only feel obligated to play since I was a derp and paid 6 months up front. Had they given me a reason to run the other dungeons I might not have gotten bored so quickly. Many people feel the same I am sure of that much.
Leveling alts is not a good alternative for me I have all the ones I care about at 50 anyway. Fate grinding is physically painful even if I wanted to level them, and dungeon queues for the other dungeons are either non existent or very very long.
Have they made an official post regarding dungeon exp? if so, could you please provide sourceI'm actually unable to see merchants in Mor Dhona until I get 2m away because of all the people piled up.
