FC Crest not visible on other players

Is there a UI setting that enables/disables the display of the Company Crests on your gear? I have tested this with several people in my FC and so far no one can see any crests except those on their own gear, whether it's others from our own FC or players from another FC, we don't see the crests.

Ive noticed this also. At first I thought it was a limitation of the PS3 and PC players were able to view them. But whats the use of the option if no one sees them, lol

I can normally see others' crests. My wife can't however on PS3.
