Portus, according to your gears on the Lodestone, you're not ready to tackle Titan yet without placing too much strain on the healers. Don't get your hopes up for this weekend. You need at least full DL in order to tank him as you're the sole tank in there. 5.3k+ HP without Defiance is probably the safe threshold.

I was away for from FFXIV for a few weeks and posted this before resuming. When I left, I decided to leave with my AF equipment on (but I missed the gloves, I think).

We managed to beat Titan the same day I sent you the tell.

I appreciate the kind words Fifi. We are trying to help people as much as possible and have started limiting our runs to saturday evenings. It seems to be tanks only that need titan kills as I have around 8 tanks right now that have asked for a run and we are working through them one by one.

This is one fight where my connection latency shines through. I know, I know...you need to run before it even casts and you need to move out of the way before the landslide highlight is done, but it seems that Comcast hates me here. I do want to practice and get better at the dance, but people are always so impatient here. I have the relic on my white mage, but I don't even want to go back in there on my black mage.

I am always around to help people get through Ifrit and Garuda, as those aren't too terrible. It's always a fun time to help people farm for their weapons and move through the primals. I dread repeating the experience of Titan and having my contacts dry up in my eyes as I try to dodge. It might be worse than waking up after falling asleep with them on.

I'm sch and can help your party for titan HM. I can also ask some friends to come along and help to fill the party if needed. Have killed titan in various party compositions: 1/2/3/4 tanks, 1/2/3/4 healer, etc etc. Just msg my char in game or find me inside the mor dhona house lol.

i got stucked there for 3 weeks xD, luckyly i shouted for party and then, we kill it, it was like finding the love of your life, but in this case was the party of your life xD, o well, after that we will get stucked in turn 5 of coil xD

I have seen latency mentioned a lot here.

If you are having latency issues try running programs like Namebench and change your DNS to the most optimal one.

This has cut my latency to the sever from 150-180ms to 60-70ms.

Plenty of FAQs out there on how to change your DNS as well.

ALSO if that LS is still being passed out send one my way. I have helped plenty of groups down HM Titan and would love to help more! Increases my odds of getting that Titan SCH healing book I want just as a Trophy.

I have been having trouble with Titan to no end as well. I have been in numerous groups having no problems getting past the heart, only to loose it afterwards. I have been in groups with 6 members all with their relic and +1 a couple times and we still could not manage lol. I just left a group (healer had to leave) after 45 min fighting this guy and we got him to .2%. Very frustrating...I thought for sure we had it. I am good on the fight mechanics etc and can do my part in the fight. I'd love to be invited to your group celesian. I spoke to your mate tonight as well. Once I down this guy I will owe much gratitude towards your players and will have no problems helping you guys help others in the future. I'm all about paying it forward!

So any of you guys needing a dd for Titan just ask (whether I need it or not by then) i will still help out.
