I need a straight, official answer. [Legacy Server Transfers]

I'm not here to debate the issue...

I would just like to know if there have been any official statements, or if the staff is willing to make a statement; as to whether or not LEGACY Characters will be offered server transfers to non-legacy servers in the future?


I don't want to be wasting my time when friends and family who didn't play 1.0 made characters in 2.0 on non-legacy servers. I have invested my time and money into playing both 1.0 and 2.0 and although I am not far; I am unwilling to lose what I have already accomplished.

It's already been answered straight, a long time ago. Yes, it will be possible, just not at the present time. All characters on legacy worlds are affected by the restriction- this restriction is NOT specifically for Legacy Characters.

Also, if you're unwilling to wait, you don't have to lose anything you accomplished. Have your friends/famly transfer to your server.

At present we have no concrete date set for when the transfers will happen, we have a 'maybe'. The naysayers seem pretty attached to that 'maybe' but it's pretty clear they don't want it ever happening. God forbid that anyone should be want to play with their friends, right? Does my goobbue scare you that much?

Wrong, Wrong. It is for Legacy Worlds. If it was only 1.0 Characters/players, then my friends who are not 1.0 players/characters could transfer off Balmung. But guess what? They can't.

Sorry, I"m not wrong. You can't transfer off of legacy worls- it doesn't matter if your character itself is legacy or not.

Ok call me stupid but i transferred from Cerberus to Hyperion and totally regret it!

I've done some reading but haven't found the answer to my question:
I understand characters 'created' on legacy servers cannot be transferred to non-legacy, but what if the character was created on a non-legacy then tranferred to a legacy and wanted to go back?

I know I know its stupid but I miss my company loool! ='(
