Does anyone know the proper Odin timer?

This is honestly starting to frustrate me, it's said that he's confirmed to be on a 24~48 hour timer, most likely 48 hours with a rumored 6 hour period before and after the 48 hours that he can spawn.

I was sitting in shroud with an entire part of people who set off the day just to camp Odin ALLLLLLLL day and he never spawned just to come back this morning and log on to put something on the market to hear people screaming "ODIN POP ODINDDDSFABDFJABDVGOVABSFF" and not even get there to see him.

Is there a better way of going about this or is there a timer?
