Thoughts on the new Letter from the Producer? (May 20)

You don't believe me? Go look at my log in stuff and see when was the last time I ranked up a class. When I do log in, I walk around for a little bit and that's it. Believe what you want but you are shielded by your fascination with this monotonous thing of a game. Especially with the leves... yeah because they are SOOoooOOOOOooo fun, I can't wait to log in and do the same one I did 36 hours ago.

Which leads me to believe 1 of 2 things. 1.) You really do want to log in and play the game but the lack of content has you frustrated and naturally, being emo, you cut yourself and log in to the forums to cry about it. or 2.) You really are just a forum troll who lacks anything to do with their time than log on to a forum for a game you 'claim' to have no interest in just to cause drama. My motto is, "Those who can't play, troll."

I can understand where Lina is coming from. With everything changing so drastically, some people dont want to get burned out before a decent chunk of the new team's work is implemented. Like the saying in Demon's Souls "The true Demon's Souls starts here", the same can be said of FFXIV once the new combat system/dungeon/company patch hits.

I pretty much did quit and leave.. me coming to the forums is to see where they are actually going with this game. I hate when people say crap like why don't you just leave OOHHHH look but your still on the forums. Remember, I paid 80 bucks for this 'game', I'm gonna get my money's worth out of it.

Technically you already did if you played atleast 20 hours of total playtime.

The average Single Player game has approximately 15-20 hours of gameplay for approximately 60 dollars.

Its been 7 months since FFXIV went on sale and they haven't yet charged a monthly fee.

If you got over 20 hours of game play then you got your moneys worth.

That's atleast $90~ in sub cost. That's already paid back the price of the Special Edition.

Regardless, i'm just glad that all equipment stats are going to be altered. Makes no sense that special NM items are as strong or less useful than a normal item at or around the same rank.

Call me troll and call me emo, what you can't call me is a liar, and many people will agree with me that there is no point in playing this game until it gets fixed.
