    Useful Scholar Macros Please

So I posted yesterday concerning the issue I have with the crossbar and too many skills. I see some of the issue is simply not macroing certain skills that would normal go together anyways.

What are your macros that you use on a regular basis, both for healing and damaging?

I don't have any of my heals macro'd, but I did combine my DOT's into two sets.

    DOT Macro one:
    /ac "Miasma" <tt>
    /wait 2.5
    /ac "Bio" <tt>
    /wait 2.5
    /ac "Bio II" <tt>

    Dot Macro 2:
    /ac Thunder <tt>
    /wait 2.5
    /ac Aero <tt>

It's smart to put a cast-time ability followed by an instant ability, because it means you can start moving as soon as your cast time finishes, which is necessary in a lot of boss fights. I stuck Bio II at the end of my first macro because I don't usually care if it goes off, so it's just bonus. I usually interrupt the macro after Bio to use the second macro, since most mobs don't live long enough for Bio II to be worthwhile. If I had space, I'd put it on a separate button.

I also have all my damage macros set to <tt>, which means they will target my target's target. This way I never have to stop targeting my group members and can always heal them. I feel you basically have to do this as a scholar, because it's the only way to direct your faery to cast Embrace, and you'll want to be doing that every 3 seconds or so.

There aren't many useful Macros really.

The only ones I'd recommend are one for DPSing whilst in Cleric Stance. You could macro Resurrection with Swiftcast, but that's about it really.

Right, I also have one for Res/Swiftcast with a party alert to tell people who I am raising (and to shame them for dying.) I also use the swiftcast/pet summon macros, which are insanely useful.

I also combined Virus <tt> and Eye for an Eye <t> because I kept forgetting to use those two abilities and usually gave them crappy real estate on my hotbar, and sticking them together makes it more likely that I use them in a fight.

A macro asking for mage's balad is useful, near the end of Titan and Garuda are the only times you should ever be having MP issues, and in those situations, it's important you get it fast.

Could you please post your exact macros? I'm on a ps3 like the OP and somehow managed to finish the storyline without any macros. XO Any and all macros would be insanely helpful because it's become such a complete pain to heal while trying to scroll through hotbars.

Thanks everyone for the macros. Can't wait to start using them.

I just put heals and leeches on mouseover macros (with leeches bound to a mouse button). That way I can keep the boss targeted and toss out damage spells between heals easier.

    Hi,

Once level 48 due to recast times diminished with Traits I have grouped Rouse (60s recast) + Eye For an Eye (120s recast)

    /micon Rouse
    /ac Rouse <me>
    /wait 1
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <tt>
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <t>
/echo Recast EYE FOR AN EYE
    /recast "Eye for an Eye"

I am one level to having Swifcast so I am using Surecast instead
So for now while using Resurrection :

    /micon Resurrection
/p <t> you are being rez please don't spawn
/t <t> you are being rez please don't spawn
    /ac Surecast <me>
    /wait 1
    /ac Resurrection <t>

As side note on SMN macros a bit different.
    Rouse(60s) + Eye for an Eye(120s) + Spur(120s)+ Enkindle (300s)
    and
    Virus(90s) + Raging Strikes (180s)

    /micon Rouse
    /ac Rouse <me>
    /wait 1
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <tt>
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <t>
    /wait 1
    /ac Spur <me>
    /wait 1
    /ac Enkindle <tt>
    /ac Enkindle <t>
/echo recast SPUR and EYE FOR AN EYE
    /recast Spur
    /echo Recast ENKINDLE
    /recast Enkindle
