Question about 90 days reward

This is one of those questions that would be added to it for sure. It gets asked a lot , but the previous thread questions about it are buried pretty deep down, so not really fault of the OPs trying to find out =D

Yeah - this is being asked regularly at least once or twice a week and since the forum search is based on the tags which nobody seesm to bother to use it's virtually impossible to look up anything here. I can't even find the threads I KNOW are here! This is really (not) "professionally" run forum. What a shame ...

And I think plenty of us would love to contribute to a FAQ thread if we could get one stickied ! But in more ways than one, this forum is weirder than other gaming forums ive been a part of. *shrug*

This question is already answered in great detail on mog station o_o Having a sticky still won't guarantee that people will actually read it. I've seen multiple threads asking the same question on the same page, people just prefer to have their own thread cause it's the lazy way of doing things.

No Sir, I checked it in advance and it does not explain it. It says that you you subscribe 90 days you get the rewards immediately, but it isn't lear about what happens making 3 Entry 30 days subscriptions the same day. I checked also in the internet and it seems that paying for 2 or more subscription times, the second gets charged only after it starts (and as such it can be canceled), so it won't give out the rewards.


Also the Moogle station is so dumb that on the subscription page doesn't state how much we are going to spend, at least not before we complete the transaction. One has to jump to the FF XIV Product page in the Lodestone to know about it and that's why many keep asking. Add that this site seems to be half hidden to Google and you'll understand why it is so difficult to get the basic informations.

That's the one that bugs me the most. The website where you need to agree to pay for something should indicate what it is that you're agreeing to, and it doesn't. At least this early on, I wasn't too worried about the fact that searching other sites could give outdated information, since the game hasn't been released long enough for the prices to have changed yet, but a few months down the road, we'll essentially be agreeing blindly to paying an unknown amount of money. That's not the proper way to run a legitimate business.

I am there now. What a mess. Since it expires tomorrow I decided to go for a 30 days entry subscription, in case I'll get a 60 days digital time card (any suggestion for EU, actually?). I clearly put an Entry subscription and this is all the info it reports about my automatic renewal:

Account Type: Standard PlayStation®3
Subscription: Standard
Payment Method: Credit Card/Debit Card

Why does it say standard? It is what it is now, I but I am switching to Entry. It should at least say that!! And again, no mention of the fees at all. Is that even legal?? I mean, I am a strong fan of FF and SE, but this is what one usually gets in the worst scam websites. And I can't find a way to remove my CC details either. (never mind, it's there in the account information). I am not very pleased with this.

As others have already said to you: yes, clearly there is a need for a new player faq. Nothing to do with laziness, and some of these ppl r new to mmos completely so the mog station is worse for them. In fact, alot of times this question gets started with "i was looking thru the mogstation, but.." kind of things.. Also, its not just a suggestion for that one question. a faq thread would have more than one pointer, right? Lol. A faq thread is something that combines all the newbie questions asked frequently.
