Just because you think its best doesnt mean its fact. SE made the other options more viable and tried to shorten the difference.Before Patch:
Best place for Myth: AK.
Best place for Philos: Prae/CM. (Depending on gear etc.)
After Patch:
Best place for Myth: WP.
Best place for Philos: WP. (Regardless of gear.)
Was this their master plan to finally deal with the AK overflow that usually occurs on a Monday? I just don't understand what they were planning on accomplish with the previous patch.
Very well then... it was still a market that shouldn't have necessarily existed had the game been designed properly from the start. We should have been able to reasonably pug any of the instances to get our tomes, which I feel has been accomplished pretty well. I now see people pugging for all 4 dungeons in Revant's Toll, which is really what people wanted, and how it should have been from the start. Sorry that your market is now over-saturatedbut I cannot in good mind ask them to change it back.

Their plan seems to have been te reduce stress on AK, give people more options (well, one) for farming tomes, and reduce the amount of people ruining people's story missions by speed-running CM/Praetorium.
It seems to have worked, but it does seem to have made all their anti-speedrun fixes on AK ultimately pointless seeing as you can now run WP in 10 minutes.

In fact that 10 min is 1% of the runs.
Stop making it out to be the new time everyone is doing because IT ISNT.
Agreed, I would say your normal speed run will be 20-25 minutes, and your normal AK speed runs are 25-30 minutes. If there is a way to speedrun WP in that amount of time you can bet they will change it up to slow people down... so enjoy it while you can. We have seen this happen 2x now, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen to WP at all. People just haven't been stressing that dungeon out very much so these things haven't been sorted. But 20-25 for one and 25-30 for the other seems to balance out, somewhat, on the myth tomes per hour.
An average group can still run WP 4 times an hour where they can only do AK 3 times an hour, 120 myth both ways and AK has much much more trash and even using the sacpulling method u cant speed it up much more than 20 minutes. SO for regular people it doesnt matter which one you do
Good groups can down WP 5 times an hour, making this 30 tomes an hour FASTER than a good groups AK (and an extra 100 philo), the next best option for philo btw is CM, which good groups can do a little more than 3 times an hour, WP is clearly the better options for the better groups.
CM farms are still top option for spiritbinding, but you get some done in WP and WP has more other rewards, so I expect the number of groups doing this to drop a lot
There is zero point in doing prae now except for variety if your just philo farming
In any case, we have more options now which is good, later we get more dungeons down the road too
It's like you people are terrified of variety. I was going to blow my brains out if I had to run AK all week ever again. Sometimes doing something else, even if it might be a little slower, is good for your SANITY.
I prefer AK. When I am teamed up with a fellow SMN, Relic+1 full DL the both of us, we average about 20-25 minutes. We even burn the wall before bees come out. I haven't tried WP with my friend SMN, but I have tried to do that speed run with other people and I would die every so often trying my best to DPS mobs of that size. It could be that they were not full DL with Relic. I hope to try it with my friend today and see how it goes.
Also, the tank had a hard time trying to keep aggro. I would get a lot of the aggro.

It would be much harder to nerf the WP speed run without screwing its target audience. Most groups aren't using any kind of exploit. Even if you count locking out the two mobs. There is already mechanic in place to force you to kill almost everything. Its really kind of a perfect system. Good players can steam roll it and even bad players can still get through it in the time alotted.
