Once again they said they would announce the winners AROUND the 6th. They can't be late for something they didn't give a definite deadline for. They have other things which are more important, this is just a fun contest, they will post the winners when they have the time.

So here we are drawing near the close of yet another day November 7th going into November 8th which means 2 days late on results of the competition this is not beyond near... I think this is another Square letdown. *Sigh, just like the bomb and Cactuar earrings we waited almost a month to get after they were won for each server and what happened they were junk.. So the people who won them did all that hard work for nothing, I bet there were insulted and I bet they felt quite cheated. Something they won for their servers and yet it ends up being nothing more than common trash, things that no one will even wear. Isnt there enough gear around like that why keep making more junk

I hope you realize that the Ahriman Necklace stats will most likely be similar to the Cactuar and Bomb earring stats. These prizes are just for fun, they are just vanity pieces to show that you won a contest.

I'm pretty sure they didn't have to work that hard for the Cactuar and Bomb earrings considering every server won the contest... and contests are meant to be fun. I'm not sure what you are expecting this necklace to be stat-wise but as everyone else pretty much stated it will more than likely be a vanity item like the earrings... it is a brag item...

No one MADE you participate, no one MADE you go broke to participate. And if you want them to take it seriously, don't you think they should take the time required to REALLY decide which entries should win? They have to look through them all and pick 100 of their favorites, they're not spinning a roulette wheel of 100 random entries. So I'm GLAD they aren't rushing themselves, so they can really pick out which entries deserve it, instead of deciding they don't have time.

well the broke part yes the game kinda did because of some in game errors that happen which square has yet to deal with they are "looking into" *sigh* I love this game but losing over half a million gil is a big thing

These prizes should be just that prizes and be a true "PRIZE" and be something that can be treasured and worth being valued and worth the wait and the effort.. I know myself personally I spent over almost 40,000 company seals to get the equipment for my screenshot so I put a lot of effort into this contest. I wouldnt have even purchased the gear I bought for the contest had the contest not happened. I think many other people feel the same way. We went out of our way to take this contest serious and be creative. I even purchased the minion I didnt own for 15,000 gil which I am short on gil du......

dressing up like a GC npc takes no effort at all. im sorry if you feel like it was a lot of effort, i've spent over 500k seals, so dont tell me otherwise. or maybe you didn't dress up like a GC npc, but lemme tell you this, dressing up like a GC npc is utter laziness. but hey maybe squareenix team will think otherwise.

It's a lot of work to go through ~700 entries and pick 100. I'm sure there's more than 100 good entries, so they'll probably have to do a lot of comparing.

Maybe next time they'll make it easier on themselves and just give out the prize for participation.
