Doppelganger Screenshot Contest (NA) - Discussion Thread

Definitely a "just for fun" event. I applaud everyone who took the creative route with monsters and such. Like others have said, I don't care much about winning, I just wanted to pay tribute to my favorite Scion.

Everyone is able to participate, nothing is stopping anyone from dressing up and entering for fun - you just won't get the prize at the end IF you win... But the prize is pretty useless if you think about it, most clothes hide the neck accessory, and as cool as the TGS earrings are, how many people actually wear them?

The event is for fun, and dealing with laws is not... I understand why a major company wouldnt want to deal with any possible risks associated with weird laws...

Ok I am on PS3 how do I take a screenshot and upload to forums? OR am I going to have to take one of my whole tv with my mobile device and do it that way?

I dont know how to take the actual screenshot, it may be in key bindings... A google search might help too...
As for uploading it to the forums, the screenshot should save to an album under the photos icon. You can either do the local network sharing thing to get to it, plug in a usb and copy it, or try to open up browser on ps3 and directly upload it to imgur or w/e photoshare site and copy it over...

It may just be faster to take a picture of your tv...

Hah, I spent hours and quite a few level allowances trying to get Mansel Black to behave for his photo op. He's a very ill-behaved little Lamb. Lilalris Chamberliaux, if you read this, thank you for healing a total stranger as you watched him "fight" Mansel in what must have looked like the most idiotic battle ever. I'm not really that bad a fighter, honest!

Some of the "my mount is the doppleganger to this ahriman/goobbue/etc" look cool, but aren't really player costumes, nor are they very creative, so I'm not rooting for them.

Question that I'm hoping I can get feedback on. Either from the community who may be more versed on the rules, or the higher ups.

I submitted an entry, but since then, I find myself wanting to swap over to my other character and make it my main. Is it possible, if I am a winner, to have the necklace sent to my new character since they are on the same account?

An odd one I know..
