Well, thats why the first thing to do is buy your AF+1 robes, which are by far the best looking set in the game (some people prefer bard, but honestly its not a very unisex outfit).

Oh and WHM for healers is nice too.

The monk robes look awesome regardless of gender =D

I bought the Ilvl 70 crafted body and pants because I hate the mnk DL pieces. I do not mind the eye patch, but the subligar is just ugly and the harness is pretty ugly too.

I wouldn't say that, MNK is one of the worst AF2. The colouring is absolutely dreadful. A puke green of sorts. I much prefer the AF colour.

The chaps don't look as bad with the set as it was levelling to 50. I still don't like it though. It's not the worst set. The overall look doesn't feel like a monk to me, but it does feel like a fighter,

The eyepatch bugs me a lot though. It's actually fine as an image thing (still not monk-like), but why would you damage your depth perception as a martial artist. I know it's a fantasy and all of that, but it's bizarre I would choose to put an eye patch on sometimes. I clearly have two working eyes.
