Current Recruitment Status:
Every class! We are looking to bolster our rank for every aspect of the game. This includes: Crafters to make stuff, gatherers to gather, murderers to chop people's heads off, raiders to raid the local Bahamut cartel for their loot, and pokeman trainers to play pokeman with. I also need more tall men to make human ladders to climb the crystal tower. For these noble reasons Trickplay now open it's golden gate to all interested gamers out there.
Who we are:
We are an end-game, high powered FC that gets everything done, as easily as possible. With multiple groups that have downed Twintania and all EXTREME Primals. However, we also enjoy lvling, playing other games, and everything else, and do not discriminate. That means all casuals, new players, crafters, gatherers, girls, Germans, plumbers, black people, and even RPers. We will happily accept everyone with positive attitudes and will take all, including your entire FC so that I can make an empire to conquer China and all of Eastern Asia with. I think...we have like 9 or 10 turn 5 coil groups with at least 5 that has downed it but I am so fat and useless I didn't keep track because there's just too many people!
Originally made for a closed group of friends, Trickplay is a group of gullible gamers who got together in Final Fantasy XIV after being tricked by me into spending money for the game. We have a great tradition: Some members have been tricked for nearly ten years into games of all kind! As avid tricksters, we are the types to breeze through games quickly and easily without spending too much effort on them. We just got back from a fat and useless pre-2.1 vacation, we also downed Twintania somehow, and we killed all of the EXTREME Primals on the first week for some reason. We are also the creator of the Twintania Deadly Boss Mod: https://github.com/Bio2hazard/talis....tania/releases a special plug-in for FFXIV App that will help you with all aspects of Twintania so that you can down it in your sleep as I do too!
But hardcore crap we do from time to time aside; for us, the importance of games is that they are for the fun and enjoyment they bring. I am not some crazed dictator, I love playing games and so should you! Applicants should understand this when I trick you into spending thousands of dollars in pledges to Star Citizen before the game even comes out. Let's be friends forever!
Somethings to keep in mind before applying:
1.) You will need to sacrifice your life for the raid: That means no "pressing emergencies" like family, school, work, women, alcohol, candy, weed, cellphones, sushi, and buttsecks when it comes time to raiding. Just kidding! Try to make it here most of the time though, alright? If you REALLY can't make it, make sure you are the type of person to give a notice in advance.
2.) You have to be somewhat motivated! Know that being fat and useless results in you being roasted for dinner tonight. This does not apply once you have done everything you need to do in the game, of course.
3.) You will need to understand the fact that newcomers will not be always be able to raid right away. We already have three active raid groups and not enough leaders to step up to make new groups. You get brownie points if you form a raid group though, and I will do everything in my power to help get you started as well. It will also be cool if you don't raid at all and focus on building things or killing people, raiding is overrated anyway hahaha.
4.) You need to use our teamspeak. We are a team, so speak clearly! Don't mumble.
5.) Please be honest when dealing with guildmates, I really don't want to hear anything like guildies getting ripped off or having their mats stolen...
6.) We are one of the (if not first) first groups to start selling Titan runs on this server. And as such we have a proud tradition of one shot or money back. That means: I don't want to hear any whining if you didn't get invited because your qualification is in question. But then we stopped a couple months ago because the profit was terrible so its whatever now!
7.) Gimme your lunch money so we can build a house with it.
8.) No drama.
9.) Don't do stuff that will make the guild look bad. Don't scam others, don't troll while pugging with others, don't sleep with other people's wives, etc.
If this all looks good to you, then go right ahead and fill out an application on our forums and we can proceed from there. Also does anyone play Battlefield 4?
