Is WP or AK generally more efficient for mythology farming? Don't want to be comparing the extreme cases with speed runs, just in general, cos you hardly run into any exceptional speed runs through DF.

I'd say AK if done right you can pretty much ace it within 20 mins. Plus it gives more.
You can do WP in 10 minutes with good gear, 15 minutes with okay gear.
/thread
"Okay gear" = DL.
"Good gear" = Allagan/Myth gear.
Four full DL players going balls to wall in WP on everything, no wipes, barely managed 18 minutes (my group).
Show me your party's gear set up when you prove your case, and I'll believe you.
Both dungeons drop gil, not just AK. WP drops consistently ~10 gil less per mob. But, see, if gil mattered people would kill everything, but people still want to skip trash. It's a compulsive need to rush rush rush.

!0min WP? when you could skip mobs it was possible to do it in 8-10min, but now? give me a break lol...15min is the mark you can achieve tho yes.
When it comes to Phylo farming WP wins hands down, if you are farming Myth then it's a close call but i still think WP wins by a small margin in time spent per tomestone.

Sorry for the mobile link on phone atm
My average time in DF for both dungeon are not that much of a difference, definitely not 33% of the boost AK gives over WP in tomes. Plus AK drops gil, so I usually just run AKs and then WPs to tap it off.
WP all day everyday
6 AK + 2 WP = 300 tomestones, no more waste yeah![]()
