Banking on the Musketeers becoming playable.

I would like to add i don't want to see Samurai added as the standard Japanese immersion breaking "From an Eastern culture no where near Eorzea" that has become cliche as all hell.

Rename it something like Soldier and make its theme based off this baddass right here.

@atamis: you seems to forget the world have 3 continent, eorzea is not the whole world, and some asian style culture seems to exist, then... who know.

Yeah, this makes no sense whatsoever. Not only do the archers' guild and potential musketeers' guild not have anything in common that would lead to a natural lore transition, firing a musket is very little like shooting a bow. Someone who's mastered the skill for one is likely to do well at the other (i.e. they're both definitely dexterity-type jobs), but aside from a basic level of hand-eye coordination the disciplines of gunnery and archery are quite different in their mechanics.

LOL, lighten up pal. You used all this just to bash that little sentence? really?
And if you actually read a tiny bit further down, you would see, that a poster had kindly reminded me about the Musketeer guild in LL, so it wouldent be able to branch of Archer anyway.

Next time, dont go all Mr.Angry Wiki expert on people, just for that little thing.
A simple:

since there is a guild for musketeer in limsa lominsa it will be it's own base class with jobs branching from it.

Thats all it takes to make someone realise he made a mistake, in a friendly way.
