I do have ping spikes. You don't have 1,5 sec lag.
But obviously, only lag explain why people keep dying while some other manage to avoid it, everytime.

It is lag indeed. The lag that they have between the moment their eyes see something appear on the screen, their brain processes it and their hands perform the correct action. That is the lag they need to work on.
The server lag is not a problem because, even when it exists, it can be avoided by moving to a safe area BEFORE the event is cast. There are thousands of Titan rotation tables online that anyone could memorize if they cannot rely on their reaction speed or their internet connection.
Yep, this is exactly what I meant before. It is lag indeed. The lag that they have between the moment their eyes see something appear on the screen, their brain processes it and their hands perform the correct action. That is the lag they need to work on.

Everyone should move before the attack starts to avoid any possible lag problem. If you can avoid everything just moving when the cast starts, good for you.
If you have more than 2 sec lag, you shouldn't do Titan, just try to fix the issue.
Stage 5 needs to be toned down a bit and a gear restriction has to be put in place so people with level 45 gear cant waste everyones time.
With all due respect sir, you are wrong. I'm a healer, i ran almost 300 times on titan HM already, and never downed it even a single once. Ran with FC yesterday, one shot it. And I pull my own weight, I'm not getting carried.
Healer's job is to keep every1 alive during the fight. I personally have fought titan until 3% at maximum before i downed it. The wipe cause? Out of MP, people die slowly. When i ran with my FC, all i do is running around, popping regen on tank, and get ready to heal on mountain buster or tumult.
See, it's not the problem with gears. When you see a solid team, you healers will definitely know that titan HM is not hard to heal at all.
I duty finded 3 times for Titan HM yesterday.
First team we won on the first go.
Second team we lost once, then beat it.
Third time we beat it.
I think I got really lucky but the fact is we had 2 DPS alive and 2 Healers until the end (Of course, Tank as well). I've always been able to survive the entire fight without being hit once, but it was nice to have such a streak in which in 2/3 teams I beat it with the Healers were just as competent.
Although I've been in a Titan HM where it's just 2 healers and a Tank and it is HORRIBLE. There's just no point in even trying to fight at that point unless you want to risk resurrecting someone (who will accept right away then be plumed to death).
I agree Healing is the hardest job in it solely because of the amount of people who get hit. This in turn is a problem with the people who do get hit, and I've seen some amazing Melee people who survived without a single hit.
My plea is for DPS to please get better at it because that's always been what the cornerstone for failure is in my groups. They get hit too much so I need to heal them, which means no heals for the tank; or the DPS die and so Titan's HP goes no where.
Cued 3 Times yesterday, won three times. i'm just a 3525 buffed hp brd. ULTRA possible
I'm wondering if people are beginning to master the fight now.
Back when I was farming for my Ifrit weapon we wound up trying like 6 times before we won back when everyone and their grandmother was doing it, but now days pretty much out of the 10 times I've duty finded all 10 times we won. It's just become a cake walk for the general populace.
Titan seemed impossible but I'm guessing it's getting to the point know where it's like this too, just slower.
I'm actually curious as well. I was queuing on my Paladin just a week ago and people were still hopelessly dying left and right to Landslides and Plumes.
Suppose I'll have to try out the Duty Finder again soon.
Its the same thing that I've been seeing. No matter how I get a group together, through shout or DF, it seems I always have people who cant dodge stuff. I'll admit, I do get hit by a plume every now and then, but im seeing people get hit by landslides and bombs and Nontanks get hit by mountainbuster. in over 50 or so runs, ive only had 2 groups who could get to P5 and survive it more than 1 cycle.
Granted im doing it on a bard so its easier for me to dps and dodge, but people know dodging is far above dps in terms of importance right?
Think i might take a break for a while, farm the rest of my DL set, so hopefully I can help carry some people.
